Blog & News:
another saturday night
Hey all,An inspiring weekend back in the two places that I can legitimately call home. Thanks to all the great friends I got to catch up with this weekend in Indianapolis and Chicago. Thanks to all those who bought me shots of whiskey. You've helped a songwriter push even further.
Just looked at the weather report, which reads -1 degrees, and I'm hoping that we can start branching out over the next few months for travels. Possibly southern California or some resort towns in the Caribbean.
The van's holding up alright - it came with a missing windshield wiper blade and a side door that lacks one important function: the ability to open from the outside.
We've been playing a couple of new tunes in the past couple of nights - I'd Be Honored is a ballsy rock and roll song that KJ rips to shreds on the keys, and Love and Do Not Hesitate flows with a bluesy vibe about the beauty of being impatient.
I'd write more, feel like writing more, got a lot on the brain, but it's 4 o'clock in the morning. Insomnia has been a good friend to me, but I'm working on parting ways with her.
Night,
